This horse has been scupted by hand out of terracota stoneware clay. It has been decorated using wax resist, with glazes and oxides

This is what two milk bottles of glass melted into the bottom of a large platter look like. 

The tree looks like it is beneath a frozen pond.  Pretty much what I’d hoped for!

Smashed glass: an experiment. Firing now. 

I think the platters look a bit boring, and would be interesting with a thick layer of glass in them, making the underlying tree painting dreamy.

Acorns, from the huge old oak.

I’ve felt that this tree was a bit sad, as it had no babies around it. It has been growing in the field for hundreds of years, and they’ve probably all been eaten by cows.  I will put the acorns in pots und
